January 1, 2009, marks the beginning of the YEAR OF SCIENCE. Sponsored by the Coalition on the Public Understanding of Science, participants will embark on a celebratory journey with you to share how science works, what it is like to be a scientist, and why science matters. Across the country, participants in the events will share knowledge about our natural world and demonstrate why science is so important to our communities, our country, and the world.
Join the adventure. The following Web site will be your guide. On these pages you will find great things the science community has to share-including videos, podcasts, pictures, scientist bloggers, games, puzzles— Have fun and be sure to share with others throughout the year.
