"Maybe it was the touch of spring in the air that prompted this young lady to run away from home yesterday. But, whatever it was, she left and landed two blocks from her home at the public library. While her frantic mother searched for her, she amused library patrons with her antics for two hours before she was identified and returned home. She is Joan Phipps, 2, daughter of Mrs. Cecil Phipps, of the Lee apartments, Boonville Avenue and Central Street."
