Sheila Temple Book Signing March 1 at Library Center

Local author Sheila Temple will sell and sign copies of her new book, “Chinese Take Out: An Adoption Memoir,” from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. She will also have copies available of her children’s book, “Gotcha Day: A Celebration of Adoption.”

“Chinese Take Out” is the story of the author’s children and their adoptions at the ages of 3, 6 and 12. “Loving our children has never been the issue. But the medical, social, spiritual and cultural challenges have been earthshaking – to say the least!”

In “Gotcha Day,” the author explains to children that love is what makes a family, regardless of race or nationality.
