Combining thrills, humor, and some animal instincts, these cozy mysteries are perfect to curl up with on a chilly evening. Whether actually told from the feline's point of view or the kitties just lend a paw, cat's have their part to play in each of these mysteries.

 

The Cat Who Could Read Backwards by Lillian Jackson Braun.

The first in the Cat Who series, reporter James "Qwill" Qwilleran meets his feline companion, a Siamese cat named Koko, who has an uncanny knack for sniffing out clues. With Koko's help, Qwilleran finds his way through both a murder and art mystery. The series continues with 28 more mysteries following Qwill and his remarkable reading cat.

 

 Wish You Were Here by Rita Mae Brown and her cat, Sneaky Pie Brown.

Mary Minor "Harry" Haristeen, the local postmistress, her cat Mrs. Murphy, and Tee Tucker, her Corgi, work in tandem to solve a rash of murders in their small town in the first of the Mrs. Murphy series.
