Comic Fans Get a Book Fix at Comic Cave Talks
It's a great time to be a comic fan in Springfield.
Comic Cave, 1316 E. Battlefield Road, will host Fourth Friday Fandoms from 5:30-7 p.m. every month for comic fans to get together to talk about all the great books being published locally and nationally.
The talks, sponsored by the Springfield-Greene County Library District as part of LibraryCon, are open to the public.
Fourth Friday Fandoms are scheduled:
- Feb. 24: "The Sword" series by the Luna Brothers
- March 24: "Paper Girls" by Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang and Matt Wilson
- April 28: It's Kelly Sue Deconnick Night: "Bitch Planet," "Pretty Deadly," "Captain Marvel," "Ghost" and "Prometheus"
- May 26: "Ms. Marvel" by G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona
