Meet Author/Illustrator Kevin Henkes March 8 at the Library Center
Children in preschool and older and adults are invited to meet author and illustrator Kevin Henkes at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Caldecott award-winning illustrator Kevin Henkes will talk about his art, books and writing during a special presentation at the Library.
He’s the author and illustrator of 50 critically acclaimed and award-winning picture books, beginning readers and novels including “Lilly’s Big Day;” “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse;” “Kitten’s First Full Moon,” 2005 Caldecott Medal winner; and “Waiting,” a 2016 Caldecott Honor recipient.
Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event or you may bring your own from home. Signing will be limited to two books per person.
