Sign Up for Your Children's Summer Activities April 6
Springfield Public Schools’ year ends in late May, and others soon follow. Now’s the time for families to plan their summer fun! The Springfield News-Leader and the Library are teaming up to help.
Sign Up for Your Summer is a special event from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch community room and Children’s Department. It’s geared especially for families with children in grades K-12.
Sign Up for Your Summer showcases K-12 summer programs around the community.
You’ll find opportunities at Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield, Explore at Springfield Public Schools, the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and many others — including the Library’s Summer Reading Program.
This free, come-and-go event is perfect for parents to sign up for programs, talk to representatives from community groups and take information home.
Hosted by Claudette Riley, News-Leader senior reporter for education. For information call 883-1974.
