Fire at McDaniel and Jefferson Streets in 1951
From Bias magazine December 26, 1951, page 10.
"Fire last week virtually destroyed the building at McDaniel and Jefferson occupied by the Pineboard Drug store and the Lines Music Co., along with a beauty parlor and children's shop and upstairs offices. The adjoining Colonial hotel was saved by excellent fire department work. The ruined building is owned by Jack Landers. This picture is the first taken of the midnight blaze. (Haden Studio photo.)"
