Be Part of the Solution: Sustainability in Springfield, April 5-26
Explore sustainable practices for everyday life, learn about what can be recycled in our community and ways to get involved. Each session will end with an activity or chalalenge to put our new knowledge into action. Sessions are on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. in April, and are open to youth in grade 6-adults at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St., except April 19.

April 5: The Zero Waste Movement, upstairs meeting room

April 12: Recycled Crafts with Arrow Creative Reuse. Materials will be provided. In the reading room.

April 19: Meet at the Franklin Avenue Recycling Center, 731 N. Franklin Ave., for a tour.

April 26: Upstream vs. Downstream, in the reading room.
