Isn't It Time You Read with Libby? It's a Free App!
You’re on your phone anyway, so why not read a book? Or listen to a digital audiobook. Watch a movie. Or read a magazine.
Using your cell phone or any other portable device or computer, anyone can borrow and read thousands of e-books and more with Libby and Hoopla, two free apps available through the Springfield-Greene County Libraries.
You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read, watch or listen anytime, anywhere.
All you need is a library card (and that’s simple to get at your neighborhood library branch or online at thelibrary.org/librarycard).
Get started at thelibrary.org/digital. There’s information for Libby and Hoopla, with simple directions for downloading either app, entering your library card number, browsing and borrowing what you want.
Checkouts are for three weeks; items will disappear after that – so no late fees!
