Welcoming Refugees

June 20th is World Refugee Day and if you are interested in talking with your children about the refugee experience or want to learn how to help local refugees, the Library can help you out! We have two special booklists this month, Refugee Stories for ages 6-8 and Tales of Refugees for ages 9-12. We are also partnering with the International Institute of Southwest Missouri on a special StoryWalk® all about building a strong community."All Are Welcome" by Alexandra Penfold will be up at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park at 2400 S.
