One Week Left for Summer Reading!
Have your kiddos finished the Summer Reading Program yet? You have one more week to log your reading and activities and come into your favorite branch to pick out your free book! All kids and teens birth through 18 receive a Fresh Start Fine Waiver card for completing their first activity and a free book and a Summer Youth Passport when they complete their programs. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers count up fun activities and kids and teens count activities and hours of reading. Completing the program also enters each child into the End of Summer Drawings where they could win prizes like gift cards to Andy's, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and more; passes to Dickerson Park Zoo and play places; tote bags; toys; gear and more free books! Completed the program? Keep reading and doing activities! Continue tracking your child's reading and activities using your online account or paper Star Reader slips and get more entries to those exciting End of Summer Drawings. But hurry, the program ends on August 5th and you have to pick up your prizes by that date. Visit thelibrary.org/summerreading or head into your favorite branch to get more information.
