Kids Can Celebrate the Joy of Thanksgiving at the Library
November 17, 2014 — Thanksgiving is almost here, giving us all a special opportunity to think about what we are thankful for. Kids can share in the joy of Thanksgiving with stories and crafts at these Thanksgiving storytime events at the Library:
- Turkey, Pumpkins and Pie, Oh My!, Friday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m. for infants-age 6 at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library. Join us for a Thanksgiving storytime with all the trimmings – songs, crafts and activities.
- Thanksgiving Stories, Monday, Nov. 24, 6 p.m. for grades K-5 in the Library Center auditorium. Listen to wonderful Thanksgiving stories around the "fireside." Bring a friend and relax with some cold-weather treats.
- Thanksgiving Storytime, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 10 a.m. for infants-age 6 at the Republic Branch Library. Get ready for Thanksgiving Day with crafts and stories about family, friends and the many things you have to be thankful for.
