Free Driver’s Practice Tests Now Available on Library Website
December 12, 2014 — Look no further than the Springfield-Greene County Libraries’ website for help preparing for your driver’s license test, whether you’re a teenager, a new resident or an older adult taking a renewal exam.
The site sgcl.driving-tests.org provides free Division of Motor Vehicles practice tests. It is designed to help new drivers study the state manual and take the driving practice tests based on real Missouri DMV written exams.
The service is a library partnership with Driving-Tests.org, one of the nation’s top sites for driver’s license practice tests. It was offered as a free service to the library.
The Missouri-specific tests include:
- 10 car practice tests
- Six motorcycle practice tests
- One CDL (Commercial Driver's License) practice test
- Three online handbooks (car, motorcycle, CDL)
- FAQ section for DMV-related questions
The new service is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that allow users to hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify tests and mask sections of the screen for greater visibility on driving practice tests.
