Fire on Jordan Creek
A fire in Jordan Creek threaten to burn the Frisco freight house in 1908. There was concern that the fire would also ignite a shipment of dynamite that was on a switch next to the creek. Oil run-off was believed to have been the cause of the fire.
A list of school properties for sale in 1923 included Phelps and Rogers Schools, whose buildings and grounds were sold outright. Other schools were selling off portable buildings and sheds.
