The Mobile LibraryThe Mobile Library is a state-of-the-art bookmobile that delivers books, music, movies and more to 24 neighborhoods in Springfield and Greene County each week.

Patrons of the Mobile Library may request delivery of materials from other branch libraries and return materials checked out at other libraries. Patrons may also register to vote on the Mobile Library.

Mobile Library Schedule

The Mobile Library is currently not making its scheduled stops in compliance with city, county and state orders.

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, service usually provided by the Mobile Library will be provided by the Library van on the regular schedule, to accept returns and check out holds ready for pickup.

The Mobile Library is a project of the Outreach Services Department.

The Library also offers free delivery of library materials to the home bound, called Walking Books.
