All Library branches will be closed and the Mobile Library will not make its scheduled stops on Thursday, July 4.

The Library Express East is temporarily out of service. Patrons with items being held at the Library Express East may call (417) 882-0714 to make arrangements for pickup.

She's a Youthful 75 and Drives 680 Miles a Month

We're celebrating a happy 75th anniversary to The Library's bookmobile service to thousands of Greene County children, teens and adults. She's taken many forms over the years, and the current Mobile Library, now 12 years old, rumbles all across Greene County, putting in about 680 miles a month with the help of The Library's Outreach Services Department.
