Rock the Vote with Nova Heat and Geezer! Sept. 10 at Library Center
Help the Library and League of Women Voters Rock the Vote with Nova Heat and Geezer during two free outdoor concerts on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. Bring your lawn chair and join us on the patio (or the auditorium in case of bad weather). The League of Women Voters will provide on-site voter registration and take voter pledges.
Enjoy an afternoon rock concert with Nova Heat from 1-3 p.m. as you get ready to Rock the Vote on Election Day. Nearly 12,000 people turn 18 every day in the U.S. Rock the Vote encourages young people to register to vote and make their voices heard by participating in the election process. The first 50 people to pledge to vote will receive a special treat.
We’ll continue the Rock the Vote celebration from 7-9 p.m. during our annual fall concert GeezerFest featuring Geezer members Richard Struckhoff, Mark Ellman, Mark Pasquale, Duane Lewis, Rusty Swift, Jana Henderson and David Sharon.
