The Holiday Store Opens Dec. 3… Where kids can afford to shop!
Children love to do their very own holiday shopping for families, friends and teachers, and they have lots to choose from at the Library’s annual Holiday Store on Saturday, Dec. 3. This year you’ll find a store inside six library branches!
Children through age 18 can shop for gifts priced just right for kids – 25 cents to $6. Volunteers are always there to help little ones shop for everyone on their gift list, and wrap their treasures.
Proceeds from the Holiday Store help support Library programs.
Save some time for Holiday Family Fun at the annual Holiday Open House that day, too! The libraries will have crafts, games and treats for children.
Holiday Open Houses and Holiday Stores are open Saturday, Dec. 3; the Library Center store runs Dec. 3-11.
Ash Grove Branch
Holiday Open House and Holiday Store: 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m., coinciding with the Ash Grove city parade festivities. Help us ring in the holiday season with fun activities, refreshments, and Christmas movies “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” not rated, “White Christmas,” not rated, and “The Santa Clause,” rated PG. The Ash Grove Christmas parade will pass in front of the library.
Library Center
Holiday Open House: 10 a.m.-noon; photos with Santa 11 a.m.-noon. Celebrate the holidays with a tropical luau! Join us for crafts, activities and games.
Holiday Store: 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday December 3; 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 4; 2:30-7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, December 5-9; Saturday, December 10, 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; and 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday, December 11.
Library Station
Holiday Open House: 10 a.m.-noon; Santa 11 a.m.-noon. Make holiday crafts, nibble some snacks and enjoy fun family activities.

Midtown Carnegie Branch

Holiday Open House: 10 a.m.-noon. Enjoy a Holiday Hoedown featuring refreshments and make ’n’ take crafts for the whole family.

Willard Branch
