Standing beside Tommy, at center in the picture, is his mother, Mrs. Laura Abney In the photo at right, Jeanie Stonestreet, whose grandmother, Mrs. Joe Sheppard, is pointing to a water color which is Jeanie’s work. Seated beside Jeanie is Patricia Sheppard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sheppard, Jr., Susan Stonestreet, Jeanie’s sister, and John Simmons, Drury student and instructor of the watercolor class, are standing at right. All of the pictures and other work visible in the background in both photographs are the work of the young artists.
