Karen Nelson “100 Things to Do in Branson Before You Die” Book Signing June 2 at Library Center
Author Karen Nelson will sell and sign copies of her latest book, “100 Things to Do in Branson Before You Die,” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Visitors have been coming to Branson and the Ozark Mountains for more than 100 years. With dozens of performance venues, multiple museums, culinary delights to tempt every taste, and the natural beauty of three lakes, you can rise to the top of the tower at Inspiration Point, plumb the depths of Marvel Cave, discover the old homestead at Lakeside Wilderness, eat a “foot” of chocolate, shop an old-time five-and-dime, and find great bargains at boutiques and outlets. If in-town adventures are not your thing, kick back at a cabin, watch the sun set, paddle Lake Taneycomo and fish for rainbow trout, or hike in national forests and state parks.
This is Karen’s seventh nonfiction book. She’ll also have copies available of “After Ever After,” a collection of short stories.
