Tim Spiess “Christianity: A Successful Failure” Oct. 27 at Library Center
Author Tim Spiess will sell and sign copies of his second book, “Christianity: A Successful Failure: Finding Faith in an Age of Fear and Falsehood,” from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Spiess provides analysis for why he deems Christianity a ‘successful failure,’ meaning it is successful according to one standard, and a failure according to another. He contends that many of the key, primary and foundational beliefs and practices of Christianity not only have nothing to do with Jesus of Nazareth, but actually nullify and cancel out his most important teachings.
