Show Your Unicorn Fandom on Unicorn Day April 13
If you have a fascination with all things “unicorn,” plan to spend some of Saturday, April 13, at the Library Station for Unicorn Day. There’s something for all ages.
- It’s Unicorn Day. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Children’s Department, families with children from infants-grade 12 can celebrate these magical creatures through crafts, games and other surprise activities. Enjoy Unicorn Storytimes with stories, songs and unicorn-themed play in the Story Hour Room at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Unicorn Party! 2-4 p.m. for adults and teens in grades 6-12 in the Santa Fe Room. Celebrate your love with unicorn and rainbow-themed crafts, activities, food and watch the film, “Legend,” rated PG, 1985. Show your unicorn pride with unicorn apparel or costumes.
- DIY Unicorn Bath Bombs. 4 p.m. for grade 6-adults in the Frisco Room. Make a unicorn-themed bath bomb. Materials will be provided; seating is limited. Registration starts April 1; call 616-0683.
