Drop in on a Senior Social @ The Library in May!
Enjoy social time and refreshments during these come-and-go events at the library branches, for adults age 60 and older.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m., browse materials, enjoy board games and breakout activities, get book recommendations and computer help.
From noon-1 p.m., a Healthy Living for Seniors lunch program will be provided by SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging's Choice Presenters. A $3.50 lunch donation to SeniorAge is encouraged. Materials will be provided for Choice and craft activities. Senior Socials are offered in cooperation with SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging and the Library's Stories for Life program.

- Thursday, May 2, Library Station Frisco Room. Safety and Self-Defense. Learn how to keep yourself safe wherever you are with tips on safety and self-defense. Registration starts April 18; call 616-0683.
- Monday, May 13, Schweitzer Brentwood Branch. Bocce Ball. We’ve adapted outdoor bocce ball to be a team game played indoors. Suitable for all ages and flexibility levels, and adaptable to individuals with disabilities. Registration starts April 29; call 616-0706.
- Wednesday, May 15, Midtown Carnegie Branch. Doodle & Dine. Bring your sketch book or notepad and other doodling supplies, or use some of ours. Share ideas and learn new techniques from others.
