Show Us How You're Still Enduring the Pandemic

Masks. Social Distancing. Plexiglass Barriers. Virtual School. Zoom Meetings.

How have your habits changed since the coronavirus first brought us stay-at-home orders and grocery deliveries?

This period of enduring the pandemic continues to be a historic event. The Library’s Local History Department wants to document and preserve a record of what life was like for all ages and walks of life during the coronavirus pandemic.

We invite you to take a quick snapshot of what you see and how you’re coping in your daily life these days during the pandemic, and help us create a historical archive called Enduring COVID-19 in the Ozarks.

Go to https://thelibrary.org/enduringcovid19, fill out the simple form and submit the photo. You can see what your neighbors have submitted so far at https://thelibrary.org/enduringcovid19. The collection will be archived for everyone to enjoy on the Library District's Digital Archive.

Through a broader partnership, photos are also being collected by Missouri State University’s Special Collections and Archives, the History Museum on the Square and  the State Historical Society of Missouri. Many of the submissions may be shared and added later to the Library District’s digital archive.
