Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale Ramps Up April 27-May 1

Summer reading is just ahead, so make space on your bookshelves for new arrivals – all the treasures you’ll find at the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale.

The sale features new and used hardback and paperback books, CDs, movies, vinyl records, audiobooks and games and puzzles. Adult, young adult and children’s books and most audiovisuals are $1 or less; better books are priced $2 and up.

The sale is Wednesday, April 27 through Sunday, May 1, at the E*Plex, Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, 3001 N. Grant Ave.

Hours are Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, Half-Price Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, Bag Day, 1-5 p.m., when everything you can jam in a sack is only $1, or $5 from better books.

Get in on the bargains early! The Friends Night Preview Sale is Tuesday, April 26, 5-8 p.m. Friends members admitted free; or pay $5 at the door to shop and join the Friends that night at no extra cost.

The Friends accept cash or check only, and parking is free.
