Valentine's Day Dance 1957
"From the left are Jerry Fielder, Gary Bareford, Bob Green, Mike O’Neal, and Rick Mayse who will entertain with a Valentine dance tomorrow night.
"Tomorrow night, from 8:00 until 11:00 o'clock the above boys will entertain with a Valentine dance at the American Legion Hall.
"Valentine decorations will predominate, with a large heart against a background of white…the serving table will continue the theme. Cokes, potato chips, and cookies will be served throughout the evening.
"Mrs. Arthur Vogel, will be in charge of special dances and games. The parents of the hosts will be chaperons: Mr. and Mrs. Selden Mayse, Mrs. George O’Neal Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Ben Fielder, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green, and Mr. and Mrs. George Bareford."
The guest list included 124 girls and 139 boys.
