Huge Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale is April 26-30!

There’s everything Elvis. A signed Ozark Mountain Daredevils book. Colleen Hoover novels and Star Wars sagas.

That’s just a sample of what shoppers will find at the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale April 26-30, and Friends Night Preview Sale April 25. There are also vinyl records, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, games and puzzles.

Books for all ages in every genre are priced at $1; better books are $2 and up. Friends accept cash or check only, and there is no tax.

The sale returns to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex, 3001 N. Grant Ave., with free parking.

The dates:

The Friends Night Preview Sale is an hour longer this year, 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25.  Friends members can shop that night for free; non-members can pay $5 at the door to shop that night and become a member.

Admission is always free the rest of the sale:

Wednesday-Friday, April 26-28, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Saturday, April 29, Half-Price Day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sunday, April 30, Bag Day, 1-5 p.m. Jam everything in a sack for $1 or $5.

A rare addition this year is an array of American Girl doll collectibles and matching clothes for little girls, sizes 7-12, priced separately and available beginning at the Friends Night Preview Sale.

Proceeds from the sale provide programs, author events, concerts and more at the Springfield-Greene County Libraries.
