We Make Holiday Shopping Fun at the Holiday Store for Kids!

Looking for a store with kid-friendly prices this season? In this Holiday Hacks: Library Edition tip, we offer a fun option where kids can shop for gifts to give family members, friends and teachers: Visit the Holiday Store for Kids! The annual event starts Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Library Center and Library Station, and continues at the Library Center through Sunday, Dec. 11.

A book vending machine is coming to east Springfield! You'll love the convenience of the Library Express East, where you can check out books and DVDS, pick up or return holds anytime, seven days a week. 


Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale Brings In $167,698.40

Thanks to donors and shoppers from all corners of the Ozarks, the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale hit its second-highest total ever, with $167,698.40 in sales. Since the sales began in 1985, the all-volunteer Friends group has raised over $4.5 million for your Springfield-Greene County Libraries.
