Gray Ladies class graduation ceremony in the Red Cross Auditorium. The Gray Ladies weren't just a motherly bedside presence. They assisted the Occupational Therapy staff, taught writing skills and gave parties in the wards, among other things. By July 1946, the 150 volunteer women had logged 69,879 hours. June 20, 1945.
