African American Read-In Celebrates Literature and Culture Feb. 22
January 30, 2018 — Join us for a celebration of African-American authors at the ninth annual African American Read-In from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Springfield Art Museum, 1111 E. Brookside Drive.
Participants will share music, dance, dramatic readings and original works that will appeal to all ages. Winners of the African American Read-In Poetry Writer's Workshop will be announced and perform their original compositions. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided.
