Give Your Brokens New Life at Fix-it Fair Jan. 26
December 21, 2018 — Throw it away? No way! Give your household appliances, computers, bicycles or even clothes a new lease on life at the Fix-it Fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in the basement meeting room, Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St.
Volunteer experts will be there to assess your item and help with repairs, allowing participants the opportunity to reduce waste while learning a valuable new repair skill.
There will also be hourly how-to presentations starting at 10 a.m. Experts in their field will discuss bicycle maintenance, mending and clothing care and 3-D printing. Presented with the Community Partnership of the
