David Sedaris Event at the Gillioz Theatre Rescheduled for Sept. 17, 2020

March 24, 2020 — The historic Gillioz Theatre and Springfield-Greene County Library are pleased to announce that the David Sedaris event has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, at the historic Gillioz in downtown Springfield.

The event, originally planned for May 1, 2020, was postponed due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic. The one-night engagement is underwritten by the Friends of the Library. All tickets were free but all seats were reserved.

Tickets that were issued through the Gillioz for the free event will be honored on Sept. 17. Ticket holders do not need to do anything else prior to arrival on Sept. 17.

Sedaris is the NPR humorist and best-selling author of “Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls” and “Theft By Finding: Diaries (1977-2002).”
