We Need To Talk Series Tackles: What Is Gender Identity?

December 17, 2020 —  Join Karis Agnew, PROMO Field Director,  at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, for a conversation exploring gender identity—what does it mean to be transgender or gender non-conforming? How do we use pronouns in the context of gender identity? Explore answers to these questions and more in this informal conversation.

Presented in partnership with PROMO, Missouri's statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization.

“We Need to Talk” is a new series from The Library designed to provide a safe space to ask hard questions about some of society’s toughest topics. A host will guide an informal conversation and finish the session with a discussion of how you can put what you’ve learned into action in your own life and community.

Registrations accepted Jan. 12-Jan. 25 by calling 883-5341, or visit thelibrary.org/programs to register. A link to the virtual event will be shared with registered participants.
