Park Central Branch Library Extends Closure through Jan. 26
January 21, 2021 — The Park Central Branch Library will remain closed through Tuesday, Jan. 26, following continued COVID-19 protocol. The branch, at 128 Park Central Square, is expected to reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
The branch closed Friday, Jan. 15, and was expected to reopen Friday, Jan. 22.
Library patrons’ due dates will be extended during that time. Materials can also be returned to book drops at other Springfield-Greene County Library branches.
All staff members wore masks throughout their overlapping shifts, but will quarantine at home. All library visitors from age 3 through adult are also required to wear masks in the branch, except for medical reasons, so public exposure is expected to be minimal.
