Library Vet Hosts Resilient Veteran Initiative to Share Resources
January 26, 2021 — The Springfield-Greene County Library District invites military veterans and/or family members to monthly, virtual gatherings to learn about benefits and services available to them from area veteran outreach programs. The series is hosted by a veteran and Park Central Branch staffer, Ian Tucker.
We’ll share a short Q&A with a representative from a local aid organization, followed by discussion and an opportunity to ask questions and get information about veteran-oriented library resources. • March 18, 1 p.m. Michelle Ciesielski from Veterans Upward Bound. Registration starts March 4.
• April 15, 1:30 p.m. Tommy Goode from the Moral Injury Institute. Registration starts April 1.
• May 20, 1 p.m. Michelle Reinmiller, Veterans Administration social worker. Registration starts May 6.
