Starting a Business? Attend this Free 5-part Virtual Workshop

February 22, 2021 — The Southwest Missouri SCORE will begin a five-part virtual workshop series, "Simple Steps for Starting Your Business," from 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, to provide you with a solid foundation for pursuing your business idea.

Register once for the entire series by clicking below; a link to the virtual event will be shared with registered participants.

Part 1: Start-Up Basics. This introductory workshop focuses on the basics of testing your business idea and identifying the key factors that influence start-up success, and provides you with an overview of the skills and tools you need when deciding to start a business. You'll learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning a business, the most profitable form for your business and the fundamentals of formation, organization, marketing, cash flow and funding sources. 

Register once for the entire series beginning April 6 at thelibrary.org/programs. A link to the virtual event will be shared with registered participants.

The series continues at the same time on May 4: Business Concept; May 11, Marketing Plan; May 18, Financial Basics; May 25, Funding Sources.
