Therapist Talks About Recognizing Trauma in Children Aug. 14

July 26, 2021 —  The events of the past year have been traumatic for many children who will experience and respond to this trauma in a variety of ways. Left untreated, trauma can negatively impact a child's entire life, but there is hope.

In a virtual presentation at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, Joshua Freeman, a therapist at Betty & Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center, will talk about recognizing signs of trauma, its impact on children and where to go for support and recovery. Presented in partnership with Include Ozarks. Visit thelibrary.org/programs to register; a link to the virtual event will be shared with registered participants.
