Meet Author Kim Malaj at Sept. 11 Library Center Book Signing
September 2, 2021 — Author Kim Malaj, a Kansas City native, former Springfield resident and Missouri State University graduate now living abroad in Albania, will sell and sign copies of “Castle of Teskom,” “Recover or Yield” and “The Old Untold” from noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
“Castle of Teskom: Book One” and “Recover or Yield: Book Two,” are the first two books in the Ember in Time Series, an urban fantasy with Greek and Albanian mythology woven into a fast-paced adventure. A couple, Itra and Danae, find a few ancestral connections to a castle that is more than stone and mortar, and discover an ancient secret that alters their perception of reality.
“The Old Untold: 101 Questions” helps document a person's untold story before they lose pace with reality. It’s a great tool for caregivers of dementia patients when they reference people and events from their past.
