COVID-19 Vaccines Offered for Age 12-Adult Dec. 4-13 at Libraries
November 10, 2021 — The Jordan Valley Community Health Center is partnering with the Springfield-Greene County Libraries to offer free COVID-19 vaccines at multiple branches.
Anyone age 12 and older is eligible to receive the vaccine, and no appointment is necessary. Vaccines will not be given to children age 5-11. Sessions for ages 5-11 can be found at https://www.jordanvalley.org/covid/ and local hospitals.
All three vaccines will be available Dec. 4: First and second doses of Pfizer or Moderna and the single dose of J&J vaccine. Booster shots are available if an individual qualifies and has completed either the two-dose regimen of Pfizer/Moderna or the one-dose J&J vaccine.
Please note: The Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved at this time for 12- to 17-year-olds with parental consent. Parents will need to accompany youths ages 12-17 and sign the parental/guardian consent line on the registration form.
