Experience Vietnam Through The Eyes of Three Veterans in Words and Film
October 17, 2022 — Three military veterans who experienced the Vietnam War as young men share their stories in two powerful programs Nov. 2 and 10 in the Library Center auditorium. Offering alternatives to Hollywood’s “Rambo” and “Apocalypse Now,” the veterans strive to deliver a “more honest, balanced and nuanced history of that long and terrible conflict” on behalf of the victims and participants on both sides.
Also on display in the Library Center concourse through October: Faces from Vietnam: Photos by Larry Rottmann.
Don’t miss these free programs. Books will be available for purchase and signing, and DVD copies of the film will be available for purchase.
